This set of 1970 dated coins is mounted in a velvet holder and hard plastic case.
There were only 750,000 minted at the Royal Mint.
The Coins are all in Proof uncirculated condition.
The United Kingdom adopted a decimal coinage system on 15th February 1971.
This Proof set contains some of the last examples of the old Pound-Shilling-Pence coinage.
Only 750,000 of these sets were issued.
